Hastings Eco Fair was organised by HEN and HUB with the support of 36 Hours and was sponsored by Judges Bakery, the Visionary Soap Company, Trinity Wholefoods, Hastings Town Centre Management, Hastings Community Network and Hastings Borough Council.

The ecofair was held in Hastings Town Centre in and around Robertson Street on Saturday 16 September 2006 from 10am-4pm to coincide with European Car Free Week. The Eco Fair aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and greener lifestyles.

There were stalls and interactive displays run by a wide variety of local environmental organisations and including information on composting, renewable energy, organic and local food, recycling, Fair Trade products, bike demonstrations, children's activities and lots more. The event was also linked throughout the town centre with live music and other performances.
