• The Rooms, 33-35 Western Road, St Leonards on Sea - this is the only 100% vegetarian eatery in the Hastings area. It is very good value for money and has lots of different options, mainly snacks and light meals including tapas. But also does daily specials and vegan sunday roast.
• Eat @ cafe, Claremont, Hastings - although not exclusively vegetarian Eat caters well for vegetarians and vegans with items clearly labelled on their menus, and offers vegan cakes, as well as soups, home-made pizzas and baguettes. It also has vegan wines from Sedlescombe.
• The Jenny Lind, High St, Old Town, Hastings - the Jenny Lind now has a vegan option for their sunday roast. When we went their they had a vegetable pie which was served with roasted potatoes and a good range of steamed veggies.
